Rhonda Garrett, MA, LCMHC
Rhonda Garrett, M.A. is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and Spirit-filled empathy to the clients she serves.
Beyond her 40 years of life experience as a pastor’s wife, Rhonda is an author and has an extensive background in lay counseling, lecturing and mentoring.
Areas of therapy in Rhonda’s counseling practice include marriage, parenting & family issues, trauma recovery (EMDR), grief management, women’s issues, depression and anxiety disorders.
Rhonda holds an M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and a B.S. in Child & Family Studies from the University of Tennessee and is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors.
Rhonda has been married to Dr. Mike Garrett for 44 years. In addition to partnering together in the counseling work of Christian Counseling Associates of Raleigh, Mike and Rhonda have raised three (now adult) daughters and are the proud grandparents of five wonderful, young grandchildren.
Counseling appointments with Rhonda are offered on Wednesdays. She is available for 50-minute appointments and extended sessions. Rhonda is also available for conjoint co-therapy with Dr. Mike (one- or two-hour appointments).
