
Karen Harmon, MA, LMFTA
Karen Harmon, MA, LMFTA, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. She has her Master of Arts degree in Christian Marital, Family and Individual Counseling, and her BA in Christian Counseling, both from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Karen is a hope-focused, person centered therapist that looks at the BPSS (biological, psychological, social, spiritual) self of a person to assess and inform the way she provides therapy. Her specialties include: depression, anxiety, PTSD, family/individual relationship struggles, adjustment issues, problem solving. She offers trauma related EMDR therapy in person as well as virtually. Karen is an EMDRIA approved therapist in training. She offers premarital and marriage counseling and is a SYMBIS approved facilitator. She is also trained in Sand Tray therapy for children and adolescents. She works with clients across the entire life cycle.
Karen is a dedicated wife and mother of three adult children and brings a wealth of training, experience, and wisdom to every counseling session.
